However, overall, a Maltese is a simple dog, requiring little outdoor exercise, as it’s very active indoors, and making an excellent companion dog.  An apartment affords plenty of room for these toy pets, so if you want a loving, affectionate puppy and don’t have a lot of space, look into buying a Maltese.
